Zamfara’s Commissioner for Education resigns after one month in office following Governor’s failure to fulfill election promises
Alhaji Jamilu Aliyu Zannah, the Zamfara State Commissioner for Education has reportedly resigned form office after spending just one month in office, serving as Commisioner.
The Commissioner who was the campaign coordinator of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle, said he is resigning over Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s cold feet in fulfilling some necessary campaign promises made earlier to the electorate.
“Lack of consultations also were among the reasons that made me to resign from the governor’s nomination and appointment as commissioner.” he gave as one of his reasons for resignation.
He is said to have announced his resignation shortly after arriving Gusau from India where he received medical treatment.
