REMARKABLE!! Young African man graduates as a Nurse with honors, bags 7 awards and 100 grand plus as the best graduating student

A young man from Africa named Durojaiye Oyindamola has earned a Nursing degree and received seven awards for being the best-graduating student at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria.

Oyindamola was officially welcomed into the Nursing Profession at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria. He shared his achievement on Twitter, mentioning that he was the top-performing student among the first-ever graduates of the university‘s Department of Nursing Science.

He achieved the title of the best graduating student in Mental Health and Psychiatry Nursing, the best Graduating Student in Medical-Surgical Nursing, and the best graduating student in Community and Public Health Nursing.

In addition, he received the UGNOSA award of excellence in academics, which came with a cash prize of ₦10,000 naira. He also earned Dr. Chinomso Nwozichi’s award of excellence for being the overall best graduating student, and this came with a cash prize of ₦100,000 naira.

Oyindamola also secured Dr. Chinomso Nwozichi’s award of excellence for being the overall best male student, and this came with a cash prize of ₦50,000 naira. In total, he earned ₦160,000 as the overall best graduating student.

In addition to excelling academically, Oyindamola actively participated in various extracurricular activities. He served as the first NUNSA OOU chapter Financial Secretary in the 19/20 session and later became the second NUNSA OOU chapter Departmental President in the 20/21 session.

He represented the department in quizzes at both intra and inter-school levels, securing achievements such as the Bookworm of the Year award, Leadership Award of the Year, Most Diligent Male Award, and Quizzer of the Year award.
