The England squad have arrived back home following their dismal Euro 2016campaign.Dejected Three Lions players trudged off their specially-chartered aircraft at Luton Airport as they prepare to be reunited with their friends and families.
There was not a smile in sight as the players walked off the plane one-by-one into the gloom and rain of London Luton Airport.
Private hire cars were on hand for each of the players as they were given their own personal ride back home.
The northern-based players also touched down in Manchester later on Tuesday. Rooney makes his way off the aircraft

England were dumped out of the competition by minnows Iceland on Monday night despite taking the lead in the first three minutes.
Wayne Rooney’s penalty was cancelled out by a double before the break and England could not find a way back into the game despite large spells of possession.
Roy Hodgson tendered his resignation as boss immediately after the defeat and finally answered questions the following day.

He spoke to the British press for the final time as England manager earlier on Tuesday and is expected to follow the team back onto British soil later in the day.
He apologised to England fans for the team’s failure – but told reporters: “I don’t know why I’m here.”
Hodgson later clarified that he had not been forced to address the reporters.

He said: “I wasn’t forced to come. I don’t think it’s necessary.
“I was not forced to come here. I did so as I’ve never shirked a press conference, never run away, always been here these four years.
“I maintain I’m unhappy as it’s no longer my job and so much is going to be written that nothing I can say will do anything other than fuel the flames and I have no magic answer.
“I’m here because this is my last day in the job and wish my successors well.

“And I’m here to thank you because in the four years, I’ve been fairly treated and have no complaints.”
Hodgson offered an apology to the supporters who spent thousands of pounds travelling to France only to be let down by a lacklustre performance on Monday.
“It’s not a point of transferring blame to players,” he said.
