Annat is a student at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, and she emerged as one of the winners of the GAIN Nigeria’s Agribusiness Innovation Challenge. She proudly shared her achievement on LinkedIn.
She mentioned that she underwent a three-month training with the group in preparation for the challenge. Annat described it as a meaningful journey for her and expressed gratitude to the partners for choosing to make a positive impact on Agripreneurs in a significant way.
Annat emphasized that the training, customer validation exercises, and business support activities were invaluable experiences for her and her brand.
“It’s been an impactful 3-month journey with @gain_alliance_nigeria and @nigeriacic. The training, customer validation exercises, and business support exercises were invaluable experiences, and I must say a very big well done to the partners for choosing to impact agripreneurs in a great way,” she said.
Annat mentioned that she was among the top 4 winners selected from the top 10 amazing finalists, chosen from hundreds of applications across the nation. She was honored with a cash prize of 4000 dollars for her outstanding performance.
She highlighted that the cash prize presents a great opportunity for her brand, FARMATAGO, to validate its innovation and move forward with it. Annat stated that the goal of her brand is to ensure consumers’ nourishment and strengthen agents of the food supply chain.
