The cash was reportedly traced the two men- Babajide and Gbolahan-who are both directors of a firm used in siphoning the funds from the Office of the former National Security Officer, Sambo Dasuki. An EFCC operative confirmed to Vanguard last night that the operation, which involved a crack team of investigators from the commission, swooped on the expansive compound of the former Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana in Parkview Estate in the early hours of Tuesday in search of vital documents to nail him. The commission said the raid was in connection with earlier.
