Social media activist Martins Otse Vincent, better known as Verydarkman, has shared his thoughts on the high-profile child custody battle between Nigerian singer Davido and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Verydarkman, known for his forthright opinions, began by commending the current generation of fathers who are making efforts to be actively involved in their children’s lives. Drawing from his personal experience, he mentioned growing up without a father and being raised by a single mother. He recounted how he lived with two different families at different times, both of which were abandoned by their fathers.
He emphasized that women should be considerate when dealing with their children’s fathers, as the ultimate impact of their actions falls on the kids. He particularly advised Sophia Momodu against using her grievances with Davido to hinder his relationship with their daughter, Imade. Verydarkman argued that preventing Davido from seeing his daughter would only harm Imade in the long run.
In his commentary, he also threw shade at Edo men, claiming they often abandon their families, leaving women to pursue them with their children. Concluding his advice, Verydarkman urged Sophia Momodu to ease off on Davido, acknowledging that while he doesn’t fully understand what she has endured, it is crucial to prioritize their child’s well-being above all else.
