Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has stirred controversy by claiming that Burna Boy’s Grammy win was heavily influenced by American rapper and producer Diddy.
In light of Diddy’s recent arrest by the FBI on charges of human trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, Speed Darlington released an Instagram video suggesting that Burna Boy’s rise to global fame and his Grammy victory were largely due to Diddy’s backing.
He credited Diddy for playing a pivotal role in shaping Burna Boy’s music career and challenged the Grammy-winning artist to come forward and reveal the extent of his collaboration with Diddy. The bold allegations have ignited debate online, as Speed Darlington implies that Diddy’s influence was a key factor in Burna Boy’s success.
He stated,“It wasn’t long after Burna Boy posted a photo of him and Diddy that he won a Grammy Award. Burna Boy, don’t be offended, but how many oils did Diddy use on you before they gave you the Grammy Award?”.
