Friends and family in the Nollywood industry have come together to remember the late actor Johnpaul Obumneme Odonwodo, known as Junior Pope, on what would have been his 44th birthday.
Unfortunately, Junior Pope passed away tragically in a boat accident on April 10th, leaving behind a profound impact on his fans and loved ones.
Nollywood actors Nosa Rex, Rachael Okonkwo, and Rita Edochie took to their social media platforms to pay tribute to Junior Pope and celebrate his life on his 1st posthumous birthday. They shared heartfelt words and memories, highlighting his talent and the legacy he left behind in the industry.
The late actor’s family also released updated burial arrangements, indicating that Junior Pope will be laid to rest on May 17th, allowing those close to him to honor his memory and bid their final farewells.
Celebrating his posthumous birthday, his friend and colleague, Nosa Rex, known for his explicit movie role, wrote, “Normally we suppose dey celebrate you today 😔. Baba since you never rest. Happy birthday to you. 🙏”.
