A video of popular Nigerian singer Korede Bello prostrating for actor Odunlade Adekola at an event has surfaced online and by extension sparked several reactions online.
Clearly, Yoruba culture is one where respect and character are well valued to the topmost level, and a recent clip, involving 27-year-old Koreded Bello and 46-year-old Odunlade Adekola is a perfect example.
In the video at the event, Singer Korede Bello met with Odunlade Adekola after seeing each other for a while and the singer’s reaction was never expected by many.
Korede Bello upon seeing Odunlade Adekola shows how much he respected the actor as he wasted no time to prostrate to him.
Actor Odunlade Adekola returns the exchange by lifting him up from the prostration state and giving him a warm hug.
Korede Bello and Odunlade Adekola alongside comedian Seyi Law and others were later seen smiling at one another in an environment that oozes positive energy as they headed to their next destination.
The video has continued to spark reactions online as many claimed that some singers at the level of Korede Bello would not have prostrated for Odunlade Adekola instead they would respond by giving him a handshake, even ignoring him among others.
Captioning the video, an X user formerly called Twitter identified as @IamTommivill wrote; “This guy humble sha! Wait ! No be Korede Bello be that ? My Oga @seyilaw1 I sight you there 🙌.”
