VeryDarkMan, a well-known Nigerian activist, caused a buzz on social media with his recent comments about Ghanaian jollof rice compared to Nigerian jollof rice.
Currently in Ghana, VeryDarkMan shared a video of himself trying Ghanaian jollof rice for the first time in his accommodation. Despite having experienced various types of Nigerian jollof rice, such as birthday, burial, valentine, breakup, and engagement jollof, he decided to give Ghanaian jollof a taste.
While eating, VeryDarkMan expressed dissatisfaction with the Ghanaian jollof, pointing out the lack of enough ingredients like Maggi and the insufficient spice. He even added water to improve the taste, but in his opinion, it still couldn’t match up to Nigerian jollof rice.
In his conclusion, VeryDarkMan emphasized that he wasn’t praising Nigerian jollof rice simply because he is Nigerian, but he genuinely believes that it is superior to Ghanaian jollof rice. He encouraged people from Ghana to visit Nigeria or, alternatively, go to Hilda Baci to learn how to cook a better jollof rice.
