A message from the late Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, also known as Oladips, pleading with his fans to pray for him emerged online just moments before his passing.
The rapper, officially declared deceased by his management on November 14th, had shared on his social media page shortly before his demise:
“I didn’t mean to scare anybody, but Dipsciples, please pray for me! I don’t feel good.”
Merely a day after this post, Oladips was reportedly urgently taken to an undisclosed hospital due to an unspecified illness. On the same day, his management publicly announced his passing on November 15, 2023.

nanak_organics: You see the words “sentiment” and “chasing clout” it needs to be banned in this country, yall truly have lost your humanity all because you want to “leave sentiment aside” or yall think someone is “chasing clout”
wohwoh_boy: My question now is that could he have gone home to his family by himself to take care of things or he just decided to make it crucial and now he came online to seek our prayers I’m sorry but until we know cause of his death sha cos social media wasn’t going to help him in any way before especially without evidence.
