A Nigerian driver created a commotion when he forcefully removed a passenger from his bus who insisted that President Bola Tinubu had declared a 50% discount on transportation expenses.

According to the passenger, who intended to travel to Cross River and had already paid the driver ₦10,000, President Tinubu’s announcement of a 50% discount on transportation was the basis for his claim.

Disregarding the passenger’s assertion, the driver forcibly ejected him from the bus, maintaining that Bola Tinubu could not dictate the bus fare as he was the owner and fuel purchaser.

Despite the driver’s resistance, the passenger persisted, citing the president’s announcement of a 50% transportation discount.
