Veteran Nollywood actor Tony Umez has taken to social media to mark 24th wedding anniversary with his wife Ogo Patsy.
Actor Tony Umez took to his official Instagram page today, November 16th 2023 to share series of loved-up photos of himself with his wife rocking the same outfit and by extension accompanied it with sweet caption for his wife.
According to the Nollywood icon, renowned for his portrayal of romantic characters in the past, his cherished Ogo Patsy is his priceless gem. Reflecting on their journey, he acknowledged the multitude of experiences they’ve shared, encompassing moments of joy, hardship, and challenges.
Tony Umez affectionately referred to his wife as not only his steadfast companion but also his pillar of strength, lucky charm, and a fervent prayer warrior.
Not stopping there, the actor chose to dedicate the chorus of Luther Vandross’ timeless classic, “I’d Rather,” to express his deep appreciation for his wife on this significant milestone in their marriage.
The lyrics poignantly conveyed Tony Umez’s sentiment that he would prefer facing challenging times with his wife over experiencing pleasant moments with anyone else, among other heartfelt sentiments.
