A poignant video has emerged from the University of Benin (UNIBEN), showing final-year students paying their last respects to a fellow student who passed away just days before their sign-out celebration.
The emotional moment was captured by TikTok user @monica_affe, who shared a video showcasing the students’ heartfelt memories with their late friend, @big_priest. The video revealed that the late student was actively involved with his friends during their Final Year Brethren (FYB) activities, just days before the sign-out celebration.
To honor their late friend, the four remaining students created a special sign-out outfit in his memory, wearing white clothes with somber expressions. The video was captioned, “The space you left in our hearts can’t be filled, you will always remain in our hearts B.I.G. May God grant you eternal rest.”
The video triggered an outpouring of emotions from social media users, who shared their condolences and memories of the late student.
