Controversial rapper Speed Darlington took to Instagram to update fans after his recent run-in with Burnaboy. Despite being locked up for four days, Speed Darlington remains unapologetic.
“Being arrested 18 times hasn’t changed me,” he declared, revealing 17 previous arrests in the US. He compared Nigerian prisons favorably to those in the US, where he claimed inmates without connections were “doomed.”
Speed Darlington also highlighted the dire situation of some Nigerian prisoners, sharing heart-wrenching stories of inmates held for months without legal representation. He personally experienced similar challenges, denied access to family and lawyers.
The rapper acknowledged his Anambra state “brothers” were unhappy about his arrest, but blamed lack of phone access.
Despite claiming reduced online activity, Speed Darlington’s digital presence suggests otherwise.
