Fuji music icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, who has been a staunch supporter of Bola Tinubu, took a bold step in a recent video by addressing the President on stage.
While performing, K1 De Ultimate used his musical prowess to communicate with President Tinubu, expressing concern about the escalating hardships in the country.
Acknowledging that he had faced criticism for endorsing Tinubu during the campaign period, K1 De Ultimate confirmed that the current situation in Nigeria is worsening. The Fuji maestro highlighted issues such as the rise in petrol prices, inadequate salaries, and the general increase in the cost of goods, services, food, shelter, and transportation.
Appealing to Tinubu, K1 De Ultimate acknowledged him as a helper but urged him to listen to the people and take decisive action to address the mounting challenges in the country, emphasizing that the situation is becoming unbearable for Nigerians.
Expressing the grievances of the populace, K1 De Ultimate pointed out the frustration caused by the alarming exchange rate of 1 dollar to approximately N1500 and the escalating insecurity on a daily basis. He also touched on the issue of top individuals allegedly sponsoring kidnapping, hindering the progress of the present administration.
In conclusion, K1 De Ultimate pleaded with Nigerians to exercise patience and remain calm, assuring them that President Tinubu would find solutions to the country’s problems.
In his words; “President Tinubu, I know you are a very lovely person and I believe you can fix Nigeria. People are suffering, and with the increase in petrol prices, insecurity, people are not smiling. There is growing anger. People are hungry. People are angry. Tinubu, please help us.”
