Grammy Award winner Burna Boy, known professionally as Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, is known for his electrifying performances that captivate his audience.
However, a recent video circulating on social media captures a moment during one of Burna Boy’s performances on his ongoing “I Told Them Tour” in the United States, where he almost got into a heated exchange with a crew member.
In the video, Burna Boy, in the midst of his performance, attempted to throw a jacket worth $21,000 (approximately N33 million) to the crowd. However, a crew member, seemingly aware of the jacket’s value, intervened by dragging the jacket with Burna Boy in an attempt to prevent him from throwing it to the fans.
Despite the crew member’s efforts, Burna Boy refused to be deterred, successfully getting the jacket away from the individual and proceeding to fling it into the crowd, much to the excitement of the fans. The incident added an unexpected and dramatic moment to Burna Boy’s performance during the tour.
