Controversial Nigerian singer Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola Olanrewaju, recently criticized the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a video for losing the AFCON final against Ivory Coast.
Yesterday, on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, the Super Eagles of Nigeria didn’t win the 2023 AFCON, losing the final match 2:1 to Ivory Coast, the host country.
While some praised the Super Eagles for reaching the final, Portable is among Nigerians expressing disappointment with some of the players. Earlier, he had criticized Nigerians for focusing on AFCON, saying the country’s situation is bad.
In a new video, Portable strongly criticizes the Super Eagles players, saying they didn’t play well enough to deserve the win. He believes that talented players from Sango and Agege would have performed better and beaten the Ivory Coast team in the AFCON final.
