Nigerian rapper and content creator Speed Darlington has spoken out for the first time since his release from Kuje Prison, where he spent two months. His imprisonment stemmed from alleged defamation after he accused Burna Boy of having an improper relationship with Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy.
Following his release, Burna Boy warned Speed Darlington not to dare him again, threatening to send him back to prison if he misbehaved. However, Speed Darlington remains undeterred, taking to Instagram to declare that his time in prison was merely a setback.
In his post, Speed Darlington assured his fans that he is gathering energy for a massive comeback, hinting at an impending diss track aimed at Burna Boy. He wrote, “That was just the beginning… stepping back doesn’t mean I’m retreating, it means I’m gathering massive energy for a banger.”
The post has sparked a mix of reactions, with some fans supporting Speed Darlington’s determination and others advising him to ignore Burna Boy’s provocations.
