Grammy Award Winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has addressed the trending video capturing him exchanging greetings with his DJ Tunez at an event.

Wizkid attended DJ Tunez’s show, “Koko London,” in the UK over the weekend, showing his support for the disc jockey. During the event, DJ Tunez played Wizkid’s hit song “Ojuelegba,” sparking excitement among fans.

In a particular moment, DJ Tunez and Wizkid exchanged a gesture that some interpreted as a greeting associated with cultism. DJ Tunez, wearing a white top, raised his hand to Wizkid, who responded by raising both hands in return, creating a bonding gesture.

Amidst speculation about the nature of the gesture, an X user identified as Ahlex claimed that Wizkid and DJ Tunez are involved in cultism. Wizkid, however, has not directly addressed the allegations in his social media response to the video.

He wrote; “The meaning of that other hand covering dj tunes had mean say e senior am for rank.”
