Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is earning accolades for his recent philanthropic efforts.
He was spotted in the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos, actively engaged in an outreach program for children in the community, fulfilling his commitment to donate 100 million naira for Christmas.
On Monday, December 11, Wizkid had publicly pledged the substantial sum for Christmas initiatives benefiting children across different parts of the country.
Although the specific details of the distribution process were not disclosed, the singer, accompanied by his security team, has been observed at various locations in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Contrary to his initial announcement of initiating the cash distribution in Surulere, videos circulating on social media confirm that Wizkid has extended his outreach to both Surulere and the Makoko area, exemplifying his dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of the less privileged during the holiday season.
