Rudeboy, the veteran singer and one-half of the Psquare band, has conveyed his sorrow over the demise of Nollywood icon John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu.
The Nollywood industry mourned the loss of Mr. Ibu on Saturday, March 2, and his passing left fans and colleagues in deep shock and sadness. Rudeboy, who was present at the hospital during Mr. Ibu’s illness, shared his feelings about the actor’s death. He expressed the melancholy of witnessing Mr. Ibu’s passing, especially after spending several weeks with him in the hospital to ensure his well-being.
He asked God why while stating that there is really nothing in life.
He wrote: “I slept in the hospital with you for several weeks just to be there with you and all .. and you still left. God why?? #mribu. Aswear forget !!! Nothing dey for this life.”
