Singer Oladips finally apologizes to Nigerians for Faking his own death

Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, professionally known as Oladips, recently issued a public apology to Nigerians regarding the premature announcement of his death.

During an interview on Naija 102.7 FM, Oladips, known for “Lalakukulala,” appealed to Nigerians and his fans for forgiveness, characterizing the earlier death announcement as unprofessional.

Recall that on November 14th, the management of Oladips created a stir by declaring the singer dead on his Instagram page. A video had circulated online showing the artist slumped, eventually being taken to his mother instead of a hospital.

In the interview, Oladips clarified that he did not fake his death and asserted that he was genuinely unwell. He explained that his management hastily announced his death because they hadn’t received any updates from his mother.

Following the apology, Oladips accused Qdot of seeking attention by stating that he was alive. He mentioned that it had been about a year since he last conversed with Oladips and questioned how Qdot could confidently affirm that he was not truly deceased.
