Amidst economic challenges, popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has announced his intention to donate the sum of N300 million to orphanages.
The musician shared this philanthropic initiative with the public on February 20th, 2024, through his verified social media pages.
Davido is renowned for his consistent efforts in giving back, particularly in supporting various charitable causes. In 2021, he donated a total of N250 million to 20 orphanages across the country. Continuing his philanthropic endeavors, in July 2023, he disbursed N237 million to support the less privileged through the Adeleke Foundation.
In his recent post, Davido, the “Unavailable” crooner, pledged N300 million to orphanages in Nigeria. He indicated that further details regarding the disbursement would be communicated on February 21st, 2023.
