Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi are celebrating Tems’ big win at the 2025 Grammys. Tems took home the award for Best African Music Performance for her song “Love Me Jeje”, beating out tough competition from Chris Brown, Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake .
President Tinubu congratulated Tems on his official X page, expressing pride in her achievement and acknowledging the inspiration she brings to Nigerians. He also congratulated other Nigerian artists who were nominated for the Grammy Awards.
Tinubu wrote; “Congratulations to @temsbaby on winning the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, “Love me jeje”.
