The wife of Nigerian singer Portable, Omobewaji Ewatomi Oluwaferanmi, has responded to allegations of domestic violence against her husband.
Controversial blogger Gistlover shared photos of Omobewaji showing injuries, indicating that she was physically harmed.
In addition to the images of her bruised body, screenshots were circulated online, featuring Omobewaji accusing Portable of subjecting her to physical abuse.
A few hours after screenshots and photos of her battered body circulated online, Bawaji went on Instagram Live to question the credibility of the information about Portable allegedly beating her.
She strongly denied being subjected to violence by Portable and suggested that people were attempting to tarnish her husband’s career and reputation.
Bawaji challenged Gistlover, the controversial blogger who shared the information, to post a video supporting the claim of her being physically abused.
She also emphasized that she owed no one an explanation regarding her personal life.
