Nigerian singer Portable has ignited a heated debate after being barred from performing at Taye Currency’s show in Ibadan. The controversy stems from Portable’s previous comment about POP ceilings.
In a viral video, Portable expressed his frustration, stating that if Ibadan residents want to escalate the issue, he’s ready for a confrontation. He went on to say that if he’s no longer welcome in Ibadan, then Ibadan residents living in Lagos should also leave.
“If you don’t want me in Ibadan, then all Ibadan people in Lagos must go,” Portable said. “Ibadan must leave Lagos.” The singer’s statement has sparked widespread reactions online, with many criticizing his comments.
