Nigerian gospel singer Yinka Ayefele faces backlash after airing a shocking interview with a former ritualist on his show. The guest confessed to killing over 78 people as human sacrifices to his gods.
The ritualist shared chilling details of regularly sacrificing women, claiming their blood fueled a deity that thrives on human life. This sparked outrage, with many questioning Ayefele’s decision to feature such a disturbing guest.
Professor Pius Oyeniran Afobaje from the University of Ilorin criticized Ayefele, doubting any Yoruba deity requires human sacrifice. He urged Ayefele to take responsibility and assist police in finding the alleged deity if the claims are true.
