Police Arraign Six traders for allegedly assaulting and blackmailing Lizzy Anjorin

Six traders were brought before the Chief Magistrate Court of Lagos Island on charges of assaulting Lizzy Anjorin.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday at 1:30 p.m. inside Oba Akintoye Market on Lagos Island.

This legal action follows claims from blogger Gistlover that Lizzy Anjorin was apprehended at the market for purportedly attempting to buy gold with a fictitious bank transfer.

The police stated that the alleged offenses were committed by the six defendants and two other individuals who are still at large.

According to the prosecution’s Sola Samuel, Lizzy Anjorin suffered significant physical harm due to the actions of the six traders, along with two others who are reportedly at large. They are accused of forcefully pushing and dragging her.
