A Nigerian lady, @_Debbie_OA, has gained attention on social media after sharing that she now wakes up at 4:50 am to cook for her husband.

This change in behavior was prompted by her learning that a colleague at her husband’s workplace was buying him food.

After her tweet went viral, many social media users offered financial support, and she received over 2 million naira in donations. In a subsequent post, she shared how she and her husband have utilized part of the donated funds. Her story highlights the generosity and supportive nature of online communities.

Her statement: “We bought a freezer, blender, microwave, and a new mattress. Been busy arranging 😭🙌🏽 eseun wa o.”

She made the statement announcing what she has used part of the money for while simultaneously thanking those who donated to her.
