Popular Nigerian comedian and singer, Carter Efe, has taken to a new video to plea with his fans, announcing that he will no longer be releasing his upcoming song, “Babypiano.“
Efe shared this information via his verified Instagram page, expressing disappointment over the lack of encouraging comments received so far.
A few days ago, Carter Efe had released a snippet of “Babypiano,” a song that incorporated kids’ poems and the Nigeria national anthem. However, the song faced criticism from many music lovers who vehemently warned him against releasing it.
Carter Efe faced further backlash when he was seen performing the song at a party, with some accusing him of trying to undermine the legacy of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.
Due to the continuous negative comments and advice from friends regarding “Babypiano,” Carter Efe has decided to heed the feedback and has officially announced that he will not be releasing the song after all.
In the Instagram post, Carter Efe who is on a bended knees as he begs his fans and followers wrote; “Forgive me No more BABYPIANO🙏.”
