For the first time, British rapper and singer Stefflon Don has openly discussed how her breakup with Burna Boy deeply affected her.
Addressing the reasons behind her difficulty in moving on from her past relationship with Burna Boy, Stefflon Don revealed that the breakup was particularly painful due to certain factors. She highlighted that despite her loyalty, she witnessed changes in Burna Boy’s behavior influenced by money and fame. She also mentioned that Burna Boy exhibited traits of being more attached to his mother than being independent.
Following their split in 2021 after dating since 2019, Burna Boy encouraged Stefflon Don to move forward and even released the widely successful song “Last Last.”
Stefflon Don expressed that no other man has been able to match Burna Boy’s level of understanding and handling of her during their relationship. She emphasized that their intimate life was fulfilling, with Burna Boy prioritizing her satisfaction before his own.
She said; “Many still don’t understand why my break up with Burna Boy hurt me so much. I’m rich, pretty, sexxy and every man wants these curves you know what I mean? But no man has ever been able to handle me the way Burna Boy did when we were dating. He always prioritized me in bed and made sure I came at least twice before he came once.
