Chess in Slums founder, Tunde Onakoya, brought pride to his country as he successfully faced a challenge against 10 players simultaneously in Germany and emerged victorious against all of them.
At a recent conference in Germany, the chess master engaged in a competitive event where he played against ten opponents simultaneously. Over the course of about two hours, he moved from board to board, effortlessly winning against each of his opponents.
Tunde Onakoya’s participation in this event was aimed at raising funds for a hundred children in his foundation. Following the intense competition, he shared his victory on the X platform, showcasing the impressive accomplishment and garnering praise for his skill and dedication.
“On day two of the DLD conference, I played a simultaneous chess match against 10 players at once. After an almost two hour battle of wits ,I managed to win all the games.
The Chess exhibition helped us raise enough money to support the education of 100 children in our academy,” he wrote.
