Dauda Abdulfatai, a Nigerian man from Kogi state, has embarked on a 200-hour ironing marathon with the aim of surpassing the Guinness World Record held by Gareth Sander of the UK for 100 hours.
Dauda initiated the quest in Lokoja, Kogi State, after receiving a positive response from the Guinness World Records.
As of the latest information, he has completed 80 hours out of the proposed 200 hours for the marathon.
His goal is to break the existing record of 100 hours held by Gareth Sander, who achieved the feat by ironing around 2,000 items for nearly 100 hours in 2015. Dauda Abdulfatai’s attempt to surpass this record has gained attention and interest from the public.
