“My Hero My Father”- Davido Proudly Hails Father As He Builds Nigeria’s Largest Power Plant

Nigerian music sensation Davido has taken to social media to express admiration for his father, Adedeji Adeleke, as he embarks on an ambitious project to build the largest power plant in Nigeria.

According to Kemi Filani, Adedeji Adeleke, a renowned billionaire businessman, revealed at the Seventh Day Adventist General Conference Annual Council that his company already generates approximately 15% of Nigeria’s electricity.

The new power plant, set to be completed in January 2025, is being constructed in collaboration with Chinese engineering companies.

Davido shared his pride on Instagram, calling his father “My Hero.” He posted:

“My hero, my father Dr. Adedeji Adeleke speaks on The Sabbath at a SDA General Conference Annual Council 2024 – October 15th.”

This heartfelt tribute showcases the strong bond between Davido and his father, as well as Adedeji Adeleke’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s energy sector.
