Nigerian TikToker Peller has publicly apologized to Burna Boy‘s mother after an incident where he failed to acknowledge her properly at a fashion event. The apology came during a TikTok live session with singer Teni, where the 19-year-old content creator addressed the controversy.
A few weeks ago, Peller made headlines after attempting to shake hands with Burna Boy’s mother, but she refused. The incident sparked criticism, with many accusing him of being disrespectful.
During his recent live session, Peller asked Teni which artiste she would love to collaborate with, and she responded with Burna Boy. Teni then joined others in criticizing Peller for not greeting Burna Boy’s mother properly. In response, Peller clarified that he did not know she was Burna Boy’s mother at the time, leading him to issue a public apology.
Teni said; “By the way, why don’t you greet the mumsy very well?”
Peller responded; “That day I was over excited, make I no lie you, I don’t know the woman before.”
Teni advises him to make a U-Turn and in the video Peller said he is very sorry following the development at the event and even went ahead to prostrate for Burna Boy mother.
