A young woman was rescued at a hotel in Abuja after being found tied up by a man suspected of attempting to use her for ritual purposes.
The incident occurred at a popular hotel in Wuse Zone 5, where hotel staff were alerted by her cries. Upon investigating, they discovered the woman bound with tape on her hands, legs, and neck. The man was caught in the act of trying to remove the tape when hotel staff intervened.
This alarming case is not isolated. In a separate incident, a female student was reportedly killed in a hotel by another suspected ritualist. These events have sparked serious concerns about the safety measures in hotels and the adequacy of guest documentation protocols.
Adding to the worry, reports suggest that the suspects were released by the police, raising suspicions of a possible cover-up and fueling public outrage about justice being served in such cases.
