Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has found herself in a brewing controversy after filing a petition against controversial human rights campaigner VeryDarkman.
The latter, who had been brought in for questioning, was later released by his legal team.
Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram Stories to boast about her involvement in the petition, sharing pictures of VeryDarkman inside a police station. She declared, “Let it begin,” indicating her intent to take action against him.
However, VeryDarkman’s legal representatives managed to secure his release on the same day. Subsequently, VeryDarkman took to social media to issue a warning, suggesting that he plans to seek legal revenge for the situation.
In a series of videos, VeryDarkman chuckled and hinted at impending legal actions without explicitly naming anyone. The situation seems to be escalating, raising questions about the potential legal repercussions for both parties involved.
“Can you catch smoke? Google the RATEL and come back…..Aluta continua”
“Let’s start with this before the main event #theratel,” he captioned.
In a continuation of his response, VeryDarkman acknowledged that he had come across various social media posts calling for his imprisonment. Notably, he singled out skincare vendors and an individual he referred to as the cause of his police encounter.
Expressing his determination, VeryDarkman asserted that he would now make it a personal mission to target the businesses of individuals, regardless of their fame, if they are involved in promoting or selling counterfeit goods. This statement suggests a commitment to taking action against those engaged in fraudulent practices, emphasizing his stance on accountability in the business sector.
