Fans of Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade Asake have expressed their discontent over the high prices of the singer’s branded shirts and caps.
Asake, known for his energetic performances, recently kicked off his world tour for his third studio album, *Lungu Boy*. The album features collaborations with artists like Travis Scott, Wizkid, and Stormzy.
The controversy began when Asake’s official Instagram page announced the availability of his merchandise, including customized T-shirts and caps, being sold through Empire Music, the label he’s signed to.
Eager fans visited the official site to purchase the items but were shocked by the prices. Photos shared on social media platform X revealed that the branded T-shirts are priced at N241,400, while the caps are selling for N128,800.
These steep prices have sparked widespread reactions, with many netizens taking to the comments section to voice their opinions.
