Killer Mike is going through a mix of emotions, experiencing both one of the best days of his career and possibly one of the worst.
The rapper won three Grammy Awards, sweeping the “rap” categories at the 66th Grammy Awards held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
He received awards for “Best Rap Album” for “Michael,” “Best Rap Performance” for “Scientists & Engineers,” and “Best Rap Song” for “Scientists & Engineers.”
However, shortly after accepting these prestigious prizes, Killer Mike was reportedly taken away from the ceremony in handcuffs by police officers.
Reports suggest that he was picked up on “misdemeanor” charges unrelated to the Grammys.
There are indications of a physical altercation with a security guard at the Grammys, leading to his removal from the event. As of now, he has not been formally charged with any crime, and details about the incident remain unclear.
