Afrobeat star, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has officially announced his departure from the Jonzing World record label.
The singer shared the news on his official Instagram page, expressing gratitude to his boss, Dprince, for believing in him and supporting his journey thus far.
Ruger mentioned his readiness to place a significant bet on himself this year and expressed regret over having to leave. As he prepares to launch his new record label, Blown Boyent, Ruger prayed to God for strength to guide him through this new phase of his career.
In his words: “Thank you Jonzing world and dprince for believing in me and taking me this far. Wouldn’t have gotten here without you. It’s sad that I have to leave but God knows best. I am taking a big bet on myself this year. I don’t know it all but I know God will see me through. It is time for @blownboyent 💥💥💥”
