Popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan has announced that his association with celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut is over.
In a video posted on his verified Instagram page on June 28, 2024, VeryDarkMan shared that he asked Tunde Ednut to apologize to Obi Cubana, leading to a fallout between them.
The conflict stems from VeryDarkMan’s criticism of Obi Cubana for involving himself in his dispute with Iyabo Ojo and her partner Paulo Okoye. When Tunde Ednut suggested that VeryDarkMan apologize to Obi Cubana, VeryDarkMan refused, stating he would rather die than apologize.
In the video, VeryDarkMan addressed those predicting his downfall, stating that he was never “up” in the first place and enjoys “wallowing inside the mud” because he came with a tarnished image. He made it clear that he and Tunde Ednut are no longer associates, noting that the blogger will no longer post about him and that they will now work separately in peace.
Responding to accusations of being disrespectful, VeryDarkMan recalled how Nigerians mocked President Bola Tinubu after he fell on Democracy Day, labeling such behavior as hypocritical. He also criticized Nigerians for not confronting Aisha Yesufu when she refused to stand for the national anthem.
VeryDarkMan concluded by stating that this is just the beginning of his efforts to expose Nigerians who scam people, similar to how he has previously tackled fake skincare products and other issues.
