A video circulating on social media captures the moment popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham sternly reprimands a Gen Z hypeman who addresses her by her name at Priscilla’s birthday party.
On March 13th, 2024, Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, celebrated her 23rd birthday with a denim-themed party, attended by numerous luminaries from the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Among the attendees were Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham, Ilebaye, Hilda Baci, Enioluwa, and others, making the event truly star-studded.
The extravagant celebration filled the air with joy and saw bundles of money showered on Priscilla, who was even seen swimming in a pool of cash.
However, one of the notable moments from the party was when Toyin Abraham attempted to spray money on Priscilla.
As the 41-year-old actress moved close to Priscilla to spray money, a hypeman enthusiastically hyped her, addressing her as “Toyin.”
Aware of the tendency for some individuals in the Gen Z demographic (born between 1997 – 2012) to lack respect, Toyin Abraham swiftly responded.
She tapped the hypeman assertively, insisting he address her as “Aunty Toyin” instead of simply “Toyin.”
Although the hypeman complied by showing respect, his attempts to regain Toyin Abraham’s attention while spraying money for Priscilla were unsuccessful, as Toyin chose not to engage further.
