“I can’t see clearly with my eyes again” – Singer Portable cries out as he receives beaten of his life in Lekki as abroad-based singers request for refund (Video)

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, faced a physical altercation in Lekki, Lagos, resulting in injuries, including a swollen eye. Videos circulating online show the singer surrounded by aggressive men.

Portable clarified the incident on his official Instagram page, refuting rumors that he failed to perform at a paid show. According to him, two American-based singers approached him last year for a music collaboration, offering N2.5 million for a music video shoot. When they invited him for the video recently, he requested additional money due to changes in his charges for the new year and received N2 million.

After the video shoot, a dispute arose, and Portable claimed that he was attacked by the two singers and his own team, totaling 40 people. His manager intervened with the police, saving him from further harm.
