Nollywood actor and filmmaker Don Richard has stirred up online debate by openly criticizing married women who use passwords to lock their phones, keeping them hidden from their husbands.
In a widely-shared video, Don Richard found irony in the situation where a woman, who has incurred significant expenses in her husband’s home through marriage, chooses to keep her phone locked and explicitly says her husband cannot access her messages.
He deemed this behavior inappropriate, stressing that husbands have the right to check their wives’ phones, including looking at friend requests and messages.
Don Richard advised married men facing such situations to firmly object to such behavior from their wives to avoid the risk of unknowingly raising a child who isn’t biologically theirs. He confidently asserted that women engaging in such practices are unquestionably being unfaithful to their husbands.
