Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, has responded to social media activist Very Dark Man’s accusations of assaulting a man at Felabration.
Portable, in an Instagram video, defiantly told Very Dark Man to “ask about me in Abuja,” distinguishing between online and real-life bravery.
The singer also used the opportunity to condemn online bullying and ripping (cyber extortion), urging his fans to promote kindness.
“Say no to online bullying, say no to ripping,” Portable emphasized. “We only fear God.”
This latest controversy adds to Portable’s reputation for generating headlines due to his numerous scrapes and love of confrontation since entering the music industry.
