An angry-looking man from Ikorodu has called for a total ban on all songs by Naira Marley, the former record label boss of Mohbad, following the death of the 27-year-old singer.

Mohbad, a singer from Ikorodu, was announced dead on September 12.

Amidst claims regarding the possible cause of his death, netizens have pointed fingers at Sam Larry, a close associate of Naira Marley, after a viral video allegedly showed him assaulting Mohbad at an undisclosed venue in Lagos State.

While Sam Larry has released a statement asserting his innocence, Nigerians have called for him to visit the police station to explain himself in the comment section of his post.

Shortly after, Naira Marley, the former record label boss of Mohbad, released a statement on his Instagram page mourning Mohbad’s death.

Despite his post, Nigerians took to his comment section to criticize him.

Hours after, unidentified individual even made a video, issuing a warning to the people of Ikorodu regarding their choice of music at events in Ikorodu or any part of Lagos State.

In the video, the angry man urged the youth in Ikorodu to disrupt any event where Naira Marley’s songs are played.

He encouraged them to destroy the DJ’s equipment, chairs, and anything else they could get their hands on.
