A 200-level university student has achieved a significant milestone as he lands a well-paying remote job, all while still in school.
The student, whose identity remains undisclosed, applied for this foreign position and successfully navigated the rigorous interview process, earning him an enviable monthly salary of $3,000, equivalent to a sum of N3.2 million in today’s foreign exchange rate.
With this high-paying job, he will earn an annual income of $36,000, which is equivalent to over N28.2 million at the current exchange rate.
The news of his achievement quickly spread on the social media.
The student expressed his desire to move abroad after finishing their university studies.
However, this higher income also brings responsibilities, specifically in terms of taxes.
The student turned to Twitter influencer Wizarab, for advice on whether he’d need to pay taxes on his remote job earnings.
