Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has taken to social media to react to her on-screen son, Pere, from the blockbuster movie “A Tribe Called Judah,” continuing his stealing antics in real life.
Funke Akindele recently made history in Nollywood with her movie “A Tribe Called Judah,” breaking box office records by making N1.236 billion in cinemas. She received congratulations messages from prominent figures, including Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu.
In the movie, “A Tribe Called Judah,” Funke Akindele portrayed a single mother with five children, one of whom is Pere, played by actor Timini Egbuson. Pere is known for his stealing ways, and Funke Akindele’s character is always coming to his aid, with Pere claiming he is being framed.
Timini Egbuson, using his character name Pere, took to his verified Instagram page to inform Funke Akindele that he was going for perfume shopping and might end up stealing. He humorously requested her to come and save him. Timini (Pere) expressed confidence that he would be saved this time because he is in America, where there is no jungle justice like in Nigeria.
He wrote; @Funkeakindele I’m going perfume shopping today. If I mistakenly take anything abeg try to save me quickly.”
He added; “Thank God say jungle justice no Dey America 🚶🏾♂️.”
Clearly aware of the joke from the star actor, Funke Akindele responded by saying “you no well.” amd further accompany it with laughing emojis.
