Renowned Fuji singer Abass Akande Obesere is set to celebrate his 60th birthday in style, revealing plans to spend millions on five luxury houses – two in Lekki and three in Ibadan.

Obesere made the announcement during a performance, bragging about his upcoming milestone birthday on January 28, 2025. He also plans to gift his backup singers and dancers plots of land and a brand-new house.
The ‘Egungun’ singer clarified that he initially kept his plans private but decided to share due to rumors about his financial struggles.
“I will open 5 houses at once. Two in Lekki, three in Ibadan… My backup singers and dancers will also get land. On that day, I will give someone a new house. I don’t want to shout, but people said I am broke.”
